My 2nd Liebster Award!!

I got nominated for the Liebster Award again! This time by the fabulous Jeremy Jain Babu who writes an amazing blog titled Thea Thoolika. Thanks a lot for the award! Click here for her award post.

11 facts about Me:

  1. I LOVE the Harry Potter series (both books and movies). Always
  2. I have developed a recent obsession with Rubik’s cubes.
  3. I used to learn the keyboard and I like playing it occasionally.
  4. I have also learnt Kathak (for those who don’t know, it’s an Indian classical form of dance).
  5. I am extremely loquacious (I learnt the word from a friend of mine 😜).
  6. It’s my deepest desire to have a whole library of fantasy books for myself.
  7. Music flows through my body.
  8. I love watching (and re-watching) movies. I can see a movie at any time of the day, regardless of the number of times I have already done so.
  9. Space science fascinates me.
  10. I daydream. A lot.
  11. I can be really moody at times.

Answering Jeremy’s questions:

1) After reading 11 facts about me, how many are we in common?

Except for one or two points, we both are radically different.

2) Are you left handed or right handed?

Right handed

3) Are you religious?

Mostly.

4) Who do you think have come first on earth, men or woman?

Doesn’t matter

5) Do you believe in miracles?

Definitely!

6) Name or link your favourite post of mine?

“Gifted” is one of my favourites.

7) Do you blog in mobile or laptop or Mac?

Laptop

8) What do you think of gender? How many you think exist?

In this respect, I agree with what Jeremy has said. Gender is a social construct and there can be as many as are constructed.

9) Have you ever thought about writing a book and publish on your own?

Yeah, on many occasions.

10) Celebrate birthday with cake and friends? Or give food for homeless or orphanage? Be frank, it is not to judge anyone!

Cake and friends have been happening since I was born. And I am not sure but giving food and things had most probably been done when I was small. Frankly I prefer both.

11) Will you give food to a hungry stranger, but he is infected seriously by Corona?

Well, I have doubts regarding this question. Firstly, if he is a stranger, how do I know he is infected? And secondly, if I know he is infected, then he couldn’t possibly be a stranger, right? Doesn’t matter. I’ll give him the food with all the necessary precautions.

  6. Do you see yourself as an optimist or a pessimist?
  7. Why did you start blogging?

  9. What’s your greatest ambition?

The Liebster Award!

So this morning, I sat on my study desk and opened the laptop and just thought to check my mail, although I knew there wouldn’t be anything special. But lo! I had received an award nomination from The Magpie Fancier! Such a good start of the day! And the reason why I am so excited is that this is my first ever nomination! So thanks a lot “Magpie Fancier”! (sorry, but I don’t know her real name.) Make sure that you check out her blog. Now, to answer the questions…

Would you rather be too hot or too cold?

I would prefer being too cold because, you know, I could perhaps pull over more layers of blankets and clothing over me then. But if I am too hot, I don’t have much choices left, you see.

What is your favourite quality about yourself?

There are just so many, I can’t choose one 😉 (jk)

What is the strangest dream you’ve ever had?

So I once had a dream that I was trapped inside a dream! And I couldn’t escape because the key to escape was with someone in the real world, who didn’t know he had the key. That meant that I had to live in the dream world forever. That one was really bizarre.

If you were marooned on a desert island and could choose one book to bring with you, what would it be? (Don’t you dare say “How To Build A Boat”)

Aww.. I really wanted to say “How to Build a Boat”. But now that it’s out, I would prefer bringing a book called “How to Teleport”. LOL

Is there one book you think everyone should read, and why?

Yes, I would really suggest everyone to read (and feel) the Harry Potter series. Not just because of its fantasy elements, but because of how it teaches us the lessons of love and friendship. How it tells us not to lose hope and that miracles can happen anytime. I have found, after reading the seven books, that I have began seeing the world with a new perspective. It’s lovely how you can connect with the characters and detour to a completely different world.

What is the most important quality, in your opinion, in others?

Well, the best could be that they stop blabbering unnecessary nonsense that really contributes in polluting the world.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Now that’s a hypothetical question. So here’s a hypothetical answer: it would be a dish that tastes different every time I eat it.

What is your happiest memory?

That’s yet to come.

First pet?

It was a lovely little fish.

Have you ever had your heart broken? (If this question makes you uncomfortable feel free to skip)

Although I’ve had a few great falls from my bed, fortunately, my heart’s still in one piece.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Yep I do. (My sis says that’s my hormones speaking)

And now, the questions for my nominees:

  1. If you could rule the world for one day, what is the first thing you would do?
  2. What thing do you really want as a gift on your birthday?
  3. Do you think humans are really humane?
  4. Do you believe in ghosts and spirits? (Be honest, even if that means admitting that you have felt someone creeping into your room when you are alone)
  5. If your life was published as a book, what would you name it?
  6. Do you see yourself as an optimist or a pessimist?
  7. Why did you start blogging?
  8. If you could live inside a story forever, which one would it be and why?
  9. What’s your greatest ambition?
  10. Beaches or mountains? Cotton candy or chicken wings?
  11. When do you think this virus would go away? (Make a guess, just for fun. And feel free to call yourself more than a human if your guess goes right.)
